Withering of tea leaves
in progress. The physical goal of
withering is to reduce the
moisture content in the leaf,

making the leaf flaccid and pliable,which prepares
the leaf for shaping and rolling.The chemical goal of
withering is to allow the aroma and flavor volatiles to
develop in the leaves and for grassy aromas to be released.

After the crushing of leaves
has taken place the leaves are left
on their own in a
climate-controlled room where

they turn progressively darker.
This process is called
Fermentation/Oxidation

After the leaves have turned
dark brown in the climate
controlled room they are put
in the dryers

Teas are then taken to the Fiber
extractor machine where extra
fiber present in the teas can be
taken out to make it
clean and black.

Teas are then taken to the
Grader machine where they are
graded automatically

After Grading the teas they
are packed in Vacuum packs for
onward despatches
